Making the UI Work
There's been a few updates to the game since I launched it a couple days ago. Here are the highlights:
- The dice roller is much better now. You can click one button to roll both dice. You can click buttons to 'spend PLUCK to re-roll dice' all as one action. If you select the dagger, you gain a button to shift a die down by 1. Prior to this you had to do these things manually - while they weren't hard to do, they took extra steps.
- The UI will also tell you what your Attack total and Damage are, based on the dice you've rolled. The damage counter recognizes when you've crit and what that damage looks like, though the damage counter can't tell whether or not you hit your target (you have to check that manually).
- The two potions in the game will now take immediate effect when used.
- A couple of minor bug fixes that could pop up were also fixed.
